About the programme

During your exchange semester you will combine coursework with a customized practical internship experience connected to the sports performance development process and ongoing research.

If you are academically qualified and your future internship advisor envisions a project or internship experience that suits your background and interests, then the next chapter in your sports science education can be in Kristiansand, Norway.

The programme is tailor-made for exchange students.

What will you learn?

The content of the theory course will be centered on current issues related to the development of sports expertise. Both psychosocial and physical skills, including technical and tactical aspects, will be central topics. In addition, the teaching will be related to how individuals and teams can develop and perform in sports, how to prepare for the best possible conditions around training and competition, as well as relevant issues in sports expertise and ethical aspects of top-level sports.

In the internship part you will be able to apply knowledge acquired in your bachelor studies in a practical work setting. You will collaborate with scientific personnel on relevant research problems.
