The Punkt concert program features a solo performance by Erland Dahlen, Ethiopian singer Eténèsh Wassié, a rare duo meeting between Nils Petter Molvær and Daniel Herskedal, Greek pianist Tania Giannouli, and Jan Bang presenting the album Alighting (Punkt Editions), live-remixed by Erik Honoré. The evening continues with three generations of Norwegian jazz: Bugge Wesseltoft, Arild Andersen and Gard Nilssen — marking ECM legend Arild Andersen's very first appearance at Punkt.

Saturday features Henriette Eilertsen Trio and the new Nordic quintet Cimota, before the festival closes with the hypnotic, groove-based psychedelia of Goran Kajfeš Tropiques.

At the heart of Punkt, as always, is the unique Live Remix concept. This year's remixers span several generations: Arild Andersen, Jan Bang, Ingri Jordahl, Alessandra Bossa, Doglover95, Erik Honoré with guests, Even Sigurdsen Røstad / Emanuel Bang / Audun Skeie, and a closing remix by Bugge Wesseltoft's New Conception of Jazz with Wesseltoft, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten and Anders Engen.

Punkt Seminar returns, curated and led by David Toop (Thursday 3 and Friday 4 September), with Miki Yui, Lina Lapelytė, Vicki Bennett / People Like Us, Yara Asmar, Mike Cooper and Ecka Mordecai.

Punkt 2026 also features a Live Remix Workshop for music students at the University of Agder with Ingri Jordahl and Doglover95.

NB: The seminars have free entrance and all employees and students at UiA can get greatly reduced ticket prices (Tickets labeled "Students and youth under 25")

Welcome to Punkt 2026!
