Bringing research to the people
The concept "Research to the People" is an informal, social gathering aimed at making UiA's research easily accessible to everyone. Through engaging lectures, researchers share fresh insights and spark lively discussions.
These events take place at Central Bageri in Grimstad throughout the fall.

What is "Research to the People"?
Our mission is to foster social connections, build relationships, and share knowledge among researchers, businesses, students — and most importantly, the general public.
Each event kicks off with a lecture by a UiA researcher, followed by a half-hour of mingling, where attendees can enjoy food and drinks. The session wraps up with an open forum for questions, insights, and the exchange of personal perspectives.
This informal gathering is the perfect setting to share new knowledge, explore diverse viewpoints, and engage in stimulating discussions.
We aim to bring UiA closer to the people, and the people closer to UiA!
