Background and experience

After a year of preparatory class for engineering schools, I transitioned to studying sports sciences. After my second year of bachelor, I was admitted to École Normale Supérieure de Rennes. My education encompasses both "hard" (biomechanics, physiology) and "soft" sciences (psychology, sociology), applying their concepts to both sport performance and physical education. I completed an internship at Lietuvos Sporto Universitetas (Kaunas Lithuania) with a focus on muscular synergies during various types of lower-limb movements. My master's thesis, supervised by Guillaume Millet at the Laboratoire Interuniversitaire de la Biologie de la Motricité (Saint-Etienne, France), investigated the influence of the stiffness of running-specific prostheses on the biomechanics and energetic cost of unilateral lower-leg amputees.

Research

My PhD project focuses on achieving more accurate training process monitoring using the Load-Stress-Strain framework inspired by engineering principles.
The goal is to enhance current endurance training monitoring practices, such as heart
rate recording, with ventilation data collected through a new hybrid wearable belt.
This would refine individualized training prescriptions and help prevent overtraining.

My other research projects involve investigating the determinants of
cycling performance.
