Background and experience
I received my Ph.D. in (Historical) Linguistics from the University of Potsdam, Germany. My dissertation was on the diachrony of subject to subject raising verbs in the history of German. My current research revolves around examining different types of adverbial clauses at the syntax-semantics interface, in particular in Germanic and Slavic languages.
