Mijatovic is a PhD research fellow at UiA, focusing on the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the music industry, and artificial intelligence.
A former Head of Publicity at Indie Recordings, a leading Scandinavian independent record label for rock and metal, she worked on multiple Norwegian Grammy-winning metal records, and with internationally recognized Norwegian bands such as Gåte and Leprous. She has also served as a hire-in publicist for internationally established, US Grammy-nominated and stadium-filling acts such as Avenged Sevenfold.
Media outlets she has worked with include BBC, Noisey, Loudersound, NME, Dagbladet, and Aftenposten, among others. Her PR work spans daily and niche media across Scandinavia, the rest of Europe, the UK, and the US.
