Background and experience
- Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from GIKI, Pakistan from 2015 to 2019
- Teaching Assistant and Lab Engineer at GIKI, Pakistan from 2020 to 2021
- Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering CAU Kiel, Germany from 2021 to 2024
- Research Assistant at Fraunhofer ISE, Germany on Si/C composites and blends as anodes for high energy density Lithium Ion Batteries from 2024 to 2025
Areas of responsibility
I'm a PhD Research Fellow appointed in the Engineering Sciences faculty at University of Agder.
Being a part of the battery coast team, my research comprises probing the aging and degradation mechanisms of various Lithium Ion Battery cell chemistries by tracking the microscopic heat and charge flow under high voltage and high temperature cycling.
Research
- Electrochemical evaluation of synthesized Si/C composites through long-term cycling diagnostics and measurements of impedance and coulombic efficiency followed by post-mortem characterization using SEM and XRD.
- Electro-Mechanical Characterization of Zeolite/CNT-Infiltrated Carbonized Melamine Foams for Regenerative IMS Filtration.
- Morphological and Electrical Characterization of Laser-Clad Interconnects for Low-Temperature Solid Oxide Fuel Cells.
