Areas of responsibility
I am Dean at the Faculty for Humanities and Education. As Dean, I am responsible for the scientific and administrative work at the fakulty in cooperation with the Director and the Heads of Department. I am a professor in Church History, and have been teaching, doing research as well as having leadership positions at University/University College level since 1990.
Teaching
I have taught within the field of Church History, especially Norwegian Church History, History of Confessions, History of Theology, Secularization and Modernization, Women's place in the History of the Church, Human Rights and Religious Freedom.
Research
My areas for research are Church History, Norwegian Church History, the relationship between Church and State, Human Rights, Religious Freedom, the role of women in Church History, Secularization, Religious Dialigue as well as the history of Free Churches and Awakenings.
