UiA Nyskaping

UiA Nyskaping is the university's innovation support service, which assists employees and students in realizing their innovative ideas.

Apply for funding for an innovation project

Students and academic staff can apply to the UiA Innovation Pilot, a funding scheme for early-stage innovation projects. The purpose of the scheme is to support that are at such an early stage that they do not qualify for other funding.

The application deadline is 23 October 2026.

Supporting innovation since 2016

UiA Nyskaping was established in 2016 to coordinate UiA's work on innovation and strengthen the culture of entrepreneurship at the university. UiA Nyskaping has grown significantly since its inception and is now part of the Division of Research and Innovation at UiA.
