Welcome!
- You don’t need to identify as a feminist to join in.
- You don’t need to have read the whole book to take part.
The only thing we expect is that everyone treats one another with respect and openness.
About the book club
We meet once a month to discuss texts based on a broad and intersectional perspective on feminism. We often read texts that explore different forms of inequality, discrimination and marginalisation, and how these are interconnected.
To make the reading group as inclusive as possible, we mainly read texts that are available in English. The discussions take place in English, unless all participants are fluent in Norwegian.
The book club is organised by UiA – Centre for Gender and Equality.
You can find more information about the book club and a list of all the books here.
Do you have any questions, are you curious about the group, or do you need help getting hold of the books? Please get in touch with us!
