Crowdfunding Research

The Center for Crowdfunding Research at UiA is recognized as one of the leading centers for crowdfunding research and practice in Europe. We explore cognitive, psychological, and gender aspects of crowdfunding across various models and platforms in a variety of national and cultural contexts.

We have also launched a unique educational program that collaborates with students and the business community to improve skills in project development and execution. In addition, the center participates in international seminars and provides expert guidance for crowdfunding projects.

The BlueRev project (2022-2025) aimed to revitalize local European communities by implementing innovative bio-based business models, governance structures, and social innovations within the blue bio-based sector.

The UiA team, led by Soogand Golesorkhi, Frode Kirkedam, and Bjørn-Tore Flåten, has been at the forefront of developing sustainable business models. Our approach includes involving local stakeholders in co-creation workshops to ensure that the solutions are well-suited to the community's needs.
