I work as a research fellow at the University of Agder, at the Department of Visual Arts and Drama. For my PhD project I explore my own practice as an art curator. I specifically research how the art curator can work pedagogically with themes related to ecology and the concept of the Anthropocene. I will curate an exhibition for Agder Kunstsenter and Kunstpunkt Lista in 2022 as part of the project.
I come from Denmark, and I have a master’s degree in art history and a bachelor's in comparative literature from the University of Copenhagen. I have worked for many years as a freelance art curator and critic parallel to my studies.
I have previously had exchange periods at McGill University, Montreal and Universidad Complutense, Madrid.
