Completely new knowledge about water variation in trees has been developed in Grimstad. This can provide money to forest owners in Agder and reduce emission from the smelting industry in Southern Norway.

A Scandinavian research project has been granted 70 million NOK to reduce the number of tick-borne infections in people and animals. The University of Agder is a partner in the collaborative project.

Next year, for the first time, it will be possible to take the American welding engineer exam in Northern Europe. This is happening at Campus Grimstad.
