After the course the student has
profound knowledge of the nature and development of the nature and development of social work, including knowledge base
identify and discuss values and ethical challenges in social work
apply theories of power as an analytical tool in social work
Teaching methods and workload
Lecture and group work with assignments and/or group presentations. Expected workload is about 270 hours.
Approved individual reflection task.
Assessment methods and criteria
An individual oral examination
The study program manager, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Information about evaluation method for the course will be posted on Canvas.
