On successful completion of the course, the student should:
be able to perform a vibration analysis of systems with one or more degrees of freedom
free and forced motion
be able to apply the Finite Element Method for simulation of non-linear mechanical systems with particular focus on vibrations and plasticity of metals
Vibration: vibration of systems with one or more degrees of freedom, free and forced motions, damping, resonance.
Finite-Element: Non-linear Finite Element simulations with particular focus on vibration and plasticity, Application of FEM software.
