Analyzing the Effects of Entrepreneurship Education on Students’ Entrepreneurial Intentions
UiA's recent Master's in Business Adminsitration graduate, Ms. Lidia Kritskaya, presented the findings from her master thesis titled "Analyzing the Effects of Entrepreneurship Education on Students’ Entrepreneurial Intentions: Perspectives from Russia and Norway" at the 11th European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ECIE) in Jyvaskyla, Finland 14 - 16 September. The presentation was received successfully, good feedback was provided, and network connections have been established for continued academic development. The thesis was supervised by Dr. Rotem Shneor from the School of Business and Law.
ECIE is the European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. It has been running now for 12 years. This event has been held in Italy, Northern Ireland, Belgium, Portugal, and Finland to mention some of the countries who have hosted it. The conference is generally attended by participants from more than 40 countries and attracts an interesting combination of academic scholars, practitioners and individuals who are engaged in various aspects of innovation and entrepreneurship teaching and research.

Lidia Kritskaya is a MA graduate 2015 from the School of Business and Law and part time consultant at the Department of Research Management at the University of Agder. Lidia’s master thesis “Analyzing the Effects of Entrepreneurship Education on Students’ Entrepreneurial Intentions: Perspectives of Russia and Norway” had been rewritten into an academic paper, submitted and accepted to the 11th European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship - ECIE 2016.
Lidia Kritskaya would like to thank Dr. Rotem Shneor for the guidance and support during master thesis writing, paper submission and participation in the ECIE.
Lidia Kritskaya was the only representative of both University of Agder and Norway at the conference among participants from UK, Netherlands, New Zeeland, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, USA, Africa, India etc.
She successfully presented her academic paper 15 September at 11:15 Room 305 and received a positive feedback and comments contributing to the next research projects.
The ECIE 2016 allowed to develop important connections and network for future research within the field. In addition, Lidia received the certificate that proves her participation at the conference and paper presentation. The paper has been published in the conference proceedings.
