“Networking issues in mathematics education”
Invited by Said Hadjerrouit
I propose to speak about Networking issues in mathematics education, because it corresponds to my main strand of research since about one decade. It began with the networking between theories carried out within the European projects TELMA and ReMath and of course the work carried out in the Bremen group created after CERME5 which has led to a book published by Springer in 2014, and now it goes on at a different within the Lexicon project piloted by the University of Melbourne in which with colleagues of nine different countries we identify, compare and try to network the professional pedagogical and didactical lexicons available to experienced mathematics teachers to describe mathematics lessons in our respective countries; this is also a very challenging project. I could evoke this continuum of research work and then focus on one or the other.
