Going abroad during your PhD?
You can apply for a travel grant if you are planning a research stay abroad. Please read the criterias listed below:
- You need to be an active PhD candidate on our PhD programme, in the original period of three (four) years.
- You need to use the application form below.
- You can apply for stays from 2 weeks – up to (normally) 3 months.
- The purpose of your stay must be research related.
- Your supervisor must approve.
- You need an invitation from the host institution.
- Please mention if you have applied for funding elsewhere.
- You will not receive travel grant if you travel to your home country.
- You can receive up to 20 000 NOK for the first month, and then 7 500 for the remaining months.
- Hand in the application to the PhD administration.
