This exhibition explores art that happens outside of the established artscene. 80 artists will show their response to the historical Wenneslandcollection through Mail Art - which sprung out of the Beat-culture - and thereby re-contextualizing it. All the Mail Art in the exhibition are original works sent through the Postal system.

An interview with the curator for the Mail Art exhibition Imprint 93, Dr. Nayia Yiakoumaki, at the Whitechapel in London, UK, this May, will also be shown.

Fanzineculture sprung in turn from Mail Art. There will be fanzine-workshop happening in connection with the exhibition, a fanzine catalogue with all the Mail Art will be published, and fanzines from the Bergen archive of zines will also be shown.
The exhibition opens in connection with The University of Agder Faculty of Art Degree Shows.
