Massiel Henríquez Parodi er en Doktorgradsstipendiat på Universitetet i Agder. Hun har en bachelorsgrad i Business Administration fra Universidad del Norte i Colombia, en Bachelorsgrad i Sciences of Management fra L'École Supérieure de Commerce de Montpellier i Frankrike og en Master i Siviløkonom med spesialisering i International Management fra Universitetet i Agder.

Massiel Henríquez Parodi har jobbet i flere colombianske og internationale bedrifter:  l'Institut Méditerranéen de Langues et Services de Montpellier, Chevron Petroleum Company, La Guajiras næringsforening, the Regional Commission for Competitiveness and Innovation of La Guajira, Colombia og Universitetet i Agder.
