Research meeting

Abstract of talk: Achieving optimally performing control systems is an asset in today's automated industrial era, especially with the expansion of industry 4.0. Indeed, due to the recent increase in system complexity brought on by contemporary technology, the field of process control, including safety, has gained considerable attention. Therefore, to ensure the industrial systems' proper functioning, extensive studies have been conducted to design the most efficient control systems in conjunction with robust controller performance monitoring (CPM) paradigms that can adequately detect and diagnose faults in control systems. This presentation outlines the concept of CPM in industries and discusses the work done to improve the detection of abnormalities in control loops.
