Creative Performance revolves around a topic of your own choice related to your main instrument. This topic could for example be a specific repertoire, a specific composer or era, classical music improvisation or your own compositions and/or arrangements. You can choose your topic in agreement with your main instrument teacher and/or the master programme supervisors.
Activities will include participation in concerts and artistic projects. In workshops, master classes and seminars, you will work on repertoire knowledge, performance practice, interpretation, presentation and communication (live and with digital means). Interpretative understanding, historically and contemporary, music physiology and relevant issues related to tradition and innovation will have a continuous focus.
Creative Performance gives you the opportunity to develop your profile as a modern artist and will help you to find your very own identifiable place within the music field.
