I study at the University of Arts in Tirana, where I play the cello. I’m currently on my second year of the Master’s degree. I have been playing since I was six years old, and my parents introduced me to the cello. When I’m not playing, I like different sports like soccer, swimming and bicycling.
I thought it was a good opportunity to develop my music, and also get other experiences like getting to know a new culture and new people. It was an offer too good to refuse.
When I first came to the university, I thought: “Wow!” Everything was so much bigger that I’m used to, and so modern. I got a very good first impression.
I have my first class later today, so I’m very excited about that. I have practiced to hours already and really like the practicing rooms.
It’s beautiful. People are nice and the nature is lovely.
I haven’t made any plans yet, but would like to see more of this beautiful country!
