How to apply - European Integration Summer School (EISS)
The following information is relevant for applicants interested in the European Integration Summer School (EISS).
Make sure you have thoroughly read all the information prior to submitting your application. You should only apply if all admission requirements are met. UiA will not process incomplete applications.
Application period
15 January- 20 April
Please upload/send all required documents and make sure your application is complete when you apply. The final deadline for submitting documents is 20 April. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
In order to qualify for admission to EISS, you need to have completed a bachelors degree, or equivalent, of 180 ECTS within the social sciences in order to be qualified. Examples of relevant fields are political science, sociology, international relations, public administration, business administration etc.
You must also meet the following requirements:

Please note that there are different requirements depending on which country you are from, and your educational background. The country specific requirements above are the same requirements as for admission to a master's programme.For admission requirements to EISS for applicants who have completed their education outside Norway, please see the sections regarding master’s level programmes in the country specific information related to the country you have completed your previous education. Please make sure that you meet the requirements before you apply.
Required documents
Applications to EISS must include:
High School/Secondary school diploma and transcript
University/college diploma and transcript (a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, of 180 ECTS)
Diploma supplement, if applicable
Proof of English Language proficiency
Copy of passport
Documentation of name change, if applicable

Final deadline for submitting documents
Please make sure that all required documents are uploaded/sent and make sure your application is complete when you apply. The final deadline for submitting documents is 20 April.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
How to upload documents
All documents must be uploaded to the online application portal. Due to GDPR-regulations, we cannot accept documents sent by e-mail. Log in to your online application. Choose "My Documents" at the top of the page.
Document requirements
Upload all pages of diploma(s) and transcript(s), both front and back.
All documents must be translated into English, Norwegian, Swedish or Danish, if the original documents are not in any of these languages. The translation must be carried out by a government authorised or official translator. You must upload scanned versions of the original documents accompanied by the translations.
Inspection of original documents
It is important that you bring your original documents to Norway. The University of Agder can require to see your original documentation for the purpose of inspection when you arrive.
The results of your application will be published 20 May. You will be notified by e-mail, when the results are published in the online application portal.
If you are offered admission, you will be given a short deadline to respond. If you have not registered your response in the online application portal within the deadline, the offer will be withdrawn. The letter of admission published in the online application portal is the only confirmation of admission that will be issued to you.
