Academic basis for admission to master's programmes
The basis for admission to all master's programmes is a bachelor's degree (the equivalent of 180 ECTS) from a recognised institution. You must have completed your degree in order to be eligible for admission.
Choose programme to see programme specific academic basis for admission:
Either: an integrated programme of at least two years duration within biology/ecology. Or: a major subject of at least 80 credits within biology/ecology
Completed and passed major subject in English with no less than 80 ECTS. The major subject must include at least 30 ECTS in language/linguistics and at least 30 ECTS in literature.
Global Development and Planning
a) Either: a major subject of at least 80 credits within the social sciences.
Or: an integrated programme of at least two years duration within the social sciences. Examples of relevant fields include: Development Studies, Planning, Geography, Sociology, Social Anthropology, Politics and Business Administration
b) Other admission requirements: Social scientific method, at least 10 credits.
The admission requirements must include either a major subject of minimum 80 ECTS credits or an integrated programme of at least two years duration within business administration, marketing, management or equivalent.
At least 60 ECTS credits must be within the following subject areas:
Organisational and management subjects
All subject areas must be covered.
The academic basis is one of the following:
a) Primary and Lower Secondary Teacher Education Programme and at least 90 credits in Mathematics. b) Mathematics as a major subject of at least 80 credits for applicants with a bachelor’s degree, cand.mag – degree or similar.
Music Performance, Popular Music
You must have a major subject of at least 80 ECTS in music performance or equivalent.
Music Performance, Western Classical
Passed and completed major subject in music performance or equivalent with no less than 80 credits.
