To do this in the best possible way, remember to update your information in the Arrival Form.
You will receive the keys to your SiA accommodation and meet some of the Buddies.

This session focuses on digital tools, such as how to log in to your UiA user account, how to get your Student Card, how to register in StudentWeb, how to use the WiFi (eduroam and VPN), setting up your computer, Canvas, and other programs such as Teams and OneDrive.

How easy is it to cheat? You come from many different backgrounds of referencing styles and traditions of writing academic texts. This session will focus on the UiA standard of academic writing, references and how to avoid plagiarism.

Police Appointments
Time of Police Appointments for Autumn 2023
NON-EU/EEA Nationals: Wednesday 13 September 08:30 - 11:00
EU/EEA Nationals: Wednesday 6 September 08:30-14:30
Where: Kristiansand Police Station
All students (except Nordic citizens) staying in Norway for more than three months must register with the Police. The appointment is mandatory for your immigration process.
You must register online before you show up for your appointment and bring all necessary documents. For more information, see:

The International Office will organise your appointments. The list of appointments will be sent out by email. Make sure to remember the date of your appointment at the Police Station in Kristiansand.
If you cannot make the appointment set up by UiA, please make sure to Register with the police yourself.
