Norwegian language courses for students registered at UiA
As an international student at the University of Agder, you have several options when it comes to learning Norwegian during your time on campus. Look at the list below to choose the most appropriate course for you. However, please note that you will not get a visa for the purpose of studying Norwegian.
The course develops basic speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in Norwegian
The course requires effort and time, is very intensive, and there is a considerable amount of homework
On successful completion, the students will have achieved A1 level in Norwegian
Classes and exams
4 classes per week for the whole semester
3 hour written digital exam; graded assessment (A – F)
Examination requirements: 80% attendance
Register before 1 February and 1 september.
Start: 7 January.
NO 161 (intermediate Norwegian, level 1, a regular 5 ECTS course)
A 7.5 week long course (lower intermediate level) held in January-February. Start: 7 January. Please note that you need to register by 1 February! Sign up on Student Web. If you haven’t taken NO-133 or have difficulties registering, please contact Boriana.Vukovska@uia.no
