After completing the course, the candidate is expected to:
Be able to write a scientific article in English
Be able to communicate research results clearly and concisely
The writing process;
Academic English¿word choice and diction;
Structuring a paper;
Correcting common errors;
Using English paragraphs;
Writing effective academic sentences;
Appropriate transitions and connecting words;
Proper verb tenses;
Clarity and conciseness.
All students will work on a scientific article, continuously improving it, and finally submitting it to a selected conference. All students are expected to write a short summary of their article before the course start.
Teaching methods and workload
4-5 gatherings. Lecturing combined with one-to-one supervision.
Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation of written article (ready for submission). Grade: Pass/Fail
