Prerequisites
Minimum 60 credits within the study discipline, in addition to Me-107, or an equivalent course in methodology.
Recommended prerequisites
First five semesters of the Bachelor degree programme in Planning and Communication.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course students will:
able to conduct their own research related to communication practices
know the social conditions and consequences of selected communication processes
be familiar with how an organization works with the communication processes in practice
Course contents
The purpose of the course is making the students, on an independent foundation, prepare a professional assignment based on their own compiled data. The object is that studenst apply and implement their acquired knowledge in a communication organization. This work will result in an assignation in which students analyzes, decides and proposes alternative actions for the organization's practice.
Teaching methods
A combination of lectures, seminars, presentations and group work and contact with supervisor. Estimated workload is 27 hours per credit.

Assessment methods and criteria
Individual or group. Graded A-F.
Evaluation
The person responsible for the course decides, in cooperation with student representative, the form of student evaluation and whether the course is to have a midway or end of course evaluation in accordance with the quality system for education, chapter 4.1.
