Course contents
Course includes:
analysis and review of relevant works and literature of instrumental methodology
work with problem solving methods and challenges for the instrument
identifying and defining technical parameters for the instrument
identifying physiological aspects relevant for the instrument
work in a systematic manner with understanding and application of terms related to instrumental methodology
supervised professional training using students from schools of music and performing arts focussing on instrumental problem solving
Teaching methods
The course is conducted through individual lessons and group lessons. Attending the lessons is compulsory.
Expected workload for an average student is 27 hours per credit.
Examination requirements
Recognized attendance for the lessons.
Evaluation
The person responsible for the course, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1.
