Lectures on aesthetics and creativity are combined with practical workshops where students write lyrics, compose a piece of music, and make a recording of the piece. The final outcome will be used as the basis of a simple music video production which the students participate in producing. Students will learn to develop a business and marketing plan based on the music and video they make. The students will be coached in presenting themselves and their cases using techniques from drama and acting. The course also includes individual work with the music and video.
The expected workload for the student is 27 hours per credit
Take-home examination. The exam can be individual or in group.Duration: 4-days.
Assessed on the basis of pass/fail.
