Methodical product development: Methods and methodology for development of larger multi disciplinary systems. Planning via concept and detail framing/design to commissioning of the product. Technical analysis. Verification of total system.
Employed project management: Methods and employment of PC based computer programs. Planning, follow-up and finish of larger multi disciplinary projects.
On successful completion of the course, the student should be able to
accomplish a complete development of mechatronics products and analyse and verify the total system
students will have sufficient knowledge to manage projects for development of this type of products
Teaching methods and workload
Individual work with project work, in groups of 2-4 students, organised with tutorials. Lectures in selected subjects will be given.
The course evaluation is completed as a midterm evaluation in accordance with the provisions listed in the Quality Assurance System Chapter 2.1.1. A final evaluation may be completed as required.
Assessment methods and criteria
The project report carried out in group, with compulsory project presentation. Graded assessment.
