It is recommended that students are experienced in working with children and movement, physical activity or physical education in kindergarten, school or after-school recreational programmes.

Upon succesful completion of the course, students will demonstrate:

Contents
Theory on children, movement and development (internet lectures).
Practical sessions with themes which are repeated from theory.

Teaching methods
The course will have two meetings of two - three days. Teaching consists of theoretical and practical sessions with compulsory attendance.
The workload is estimated to approx. 135 hours.
Examination requirements
Participation in compulsory teaching. Further information about compulsory teaching will be given when teaching starts, at the latest.
Assessment methods and criteria
Practical in-group exam. Grades A-F will be given (one common grade for each group).
Evaluation
The course coordinator decides whether a midway evaluation or a final evaluation in the shape of a meeting between the lecturer and two-three student representatives for all theoretical courses will take place, in accordance with the normal agreement of the quality system, article 2.1.1. In some courses there may be a need for a final evaluation instead of a midway evaluation, or possibly both.
