Learning outcomes
On successful completion of the course, the student will

have basic knowledge of the human neuromuscular functions;
be able to explain how physical activity affects human physiology;
have basic knowledge of sport nutrition.

Teaching methods
Teaching will be given as lectures, practical work, demonstrations and group work. Parts of it may be compulsory - please see the course schedule in Canvas.
Estimated student work load is about 270 hours.
Examination requirements
Attendance requirements must be met. Please refer to Canvas for details.
Assessment methods and criteria
The course will have two exams and both must be passed.
Part A counts 40% and is a graded 3-hour written individual school exam which is arranged mid term
Part B counts 60% and is a graded 3-hour written individual exam which is arranged at the end of term
The course will be given one final mark.
Evaluation
The person responsible for the course, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1.
