Health and Fitness Training, One-semester Programme
Teaching consists of lectures, group work, demonstrations, training in sports hall, and self study and assignments.
The course contains both theoretical and practical work/teaching. Theoretical topics are in general linked with practical training instruction. Students are expected to learn parts of the teaching material on their own. Pratical training instruction is compulsory with a 90 % required attendance.
The student workload is estimated to approx. 270 hours.

Assessment methods and criteria
A 3-hour written individual examination. Letter grades A-F will be given. This is further described on Canvas.
The study programme manager, in consultation with the student representative, decides the method of evaluation and whether the courses will have a midterm- or end of term evaluation, see also the Quality System, section 4.1. Information about evaluation method for the course will be posted on Canvas.
