Teaching is given mainly as lectures, practical work, excursions and field courses. Excursions and field courses will take place near campus as well as in decentralised locations, and will have various lenght of time.
All field courses, practical work, excursions and preparation/supplementary work related to these are compulsory.
The student's work load is estimated to 540 hours.
An individual practical oral exam and an individual assignment at the end of term. Each counts 50%. The assignment will be based on the log from the field trips. Information about other requirements for design, contents, volume etc. will be given at the introduction to the course. One graded mark is given.
