The programme qualifies for further studies in the three-year Bachelor's Degree Programme in IT and Information Systems at the University of Agder, Kristiansand.
The programme may be combined with other programmes. It may also be included as a 60-credit component in a self-composed Bachelor's degree.
The One-Year Basic Programme in IT and Information Systems is based on courses from the three-year Bachelor's Degree Programme in IT and Information Systems at University of Agder.
Students who continue at the bachelor's degree programme, will get their previous courses accepted as part of the bachelor programme. It is also possible to apply for transfer to the Bachelor's Programme upon completion, read more about this here: https://www.uia.no/studier2/optak/intern-overgang-fraa-aarstudium-to-bachelorstudium. Students who receive this grant will then start directly in the second year of the bachelor's degree in IT and information systems. Students who have not applied for the deadline must apply for the bachelor's degree through coordinated admissions "samordna opptak", and the study advisor will then set up an alternative studyplan. Notify the study counselor as soon as you have obtained your study space so that this is clarified before the start of the study year.
