If you are considering applying to our bachelor program, via the internal admission process, you will in the second semester need to take the same courses that are compulsory as a part of the second semester in the bachelor's program in IT and information systems. For the academic year 2023/2024, these subjects are; IS-105, IS-110, BE-107 and ORG110. Contact the Student Adviser for more information about this.
A variety of different teaching methods are used: lectures, seminars, group work, group exercises and individual computer lab work. There will also be assignments (individual or in groups). Teamwork is highly emphasized during the study programme, and group-work will be compulsory in most of the courses.
Normally, approved mandatory assignments and/or project reports are required before taking the examination.
The programme qualifies for further studies in the three-year Bachelor's Degree Programme in IT and Information Systems at the University of Agder, Kristiansand.
The programme may be combined with other programmes. It may also be included as a 60-credit component in a self-composed Bachelor's degree.
