The Fadder Committee at UiA
aims that alcohol should not be the central element of the students’ socialisation process, and in this regard the majority of the activities we organise are not directly focused on alcohol.
wants students in the fadder groups to decide for themselves if they want to drink or not.
has zero tolerance for illegal drugs and intoxicating substances.
ensures that the buddies are taught and given instructions about how to avoid negative use of alcohol, as well as how to prevent drinking pressure.
shall help students in the fadder groups to get home safely, no matter how intoxicated they are.
Possible consequences for violating these rules include:
Cutting fadder bands
Losing the right to be a fadder
Being reported to the police in case of breaches of law.
