The University of Agder invites student activities affiliated to the Student Organization of Agder (STA) to apply for founding for events or activities for new students at Semester start.

Background and purpose
The purpose of the Semester start is to make new students quickly acquainted with the university, the city, the campus and each other. The purpose of the announcement is to facilitate enrolled students to help give new students a good start at the University of Agder.
Requirements that must be met in order to be considered
The event is open to all students at the University of Agder
The event has no alcohol focus
The event has a budget and costs must be documented afterwards
In addition, the following are emphasized
The event is free to attend
The event is interesting for a wide range of students and/or
The event contributes to diversity in the semester start program
The event is not limited to a low number of participants
The event does not collide with other major events
Events that are marketed and facilitated to include international students will be particular emphasized.

Payment of funds
The funds will be paid by invoice to the University of Agder after the event, accompanied by accounting and documentation. Invoice information will be enclosed with a letter of attachment, which will be sent to the association's contact person by e-mail.
