Reserving stands in Vilhelm Krag’s Hall/the A7 meeting rooms
Student organisations can use the meeting rooms in A7 and E2 upon agreement with the Student Service Centre. The A7 meeting rooms are reserved for representational purposes, therefore bookings may be moved if needed, also on a short notice. If you wish to a reserve meeting rooms in A7, email email@example.com, marking it "the A7 meeting rooms".
Student organisations can also reserve stands in the reception hall, Vilhelm Krag’s Hall on Campus Kristiansand. If you wish to reserve a stand, email firstname.lastname@example.org, marking it "Stands in the reception hall".
A7 and E2 meeting room regulations
The A7 and E2 meeting rooms are booked through Outlook. The A7 rooms, particularly A7 001, are reserved for representational purposes; therefore bookings may be moved, also on a short notice. Private events are not allowed without an agreement with Elin Gauslaa in A6. The rooms cannot be booked through Outlook between Friday 5 pm and Monday 7 am. Meetings/events during this time must be booked through Elin Gauslaa, email@example.com. For private events, a contact person has to be available, and has to be a UiA employee.
Student activities can book rooms in A7 and E2 by email, firstname.lastname@example.org. Mark it with "A7/E2 meeting rooms".
Student organisations can only book the meeting rooms from after 4 pm, and may have to give up the rooms for administrative meetings, also on a short notice and regardless of the time of booking. Student events outside opening hours are not allowed.
The rooms must always be left tidy and clean after use.
Serving and drinking alcohol is prohibited in the meeting rooms.
Reception Hall/Vilhelm Krag’s Hall regulations
Teams and student activities can reserve stands in the reception hall. Reserve a spot by emailing the Student Service Centre on Campus Kristiansand at email@example.com, marking it "Stands in the reception hall".
You are responsible for bringing equipment, etc. yourself, but tables and chairs can be booked through maintenance, at +47 38 14 18 00. Materials and equipment cannot be left in the hall, and must be cleared out after use.
The reception hall is a central meeting place and a busy area for students at Campus Kristiansand. The area is a part of the students’ protected work environment. Due to this, selling of merchandise and services is prohibited. Signing memberships and persistent marketing is not ideal in the hall. It is not allowed to approach students or other people.
It is not allowed to, e.g. make waffles, because the steam may set off the fire alarm. Making coffee is allowed.
Student organisations that have reserved a stand in the hall may have to give up their spots for other administrative activity, such as seminars and conferences, also on a short notice and regardless of the time of booking.
Make reservations for stands no later than one day prior to the event, and for no more than 2 consecutive weeks.
