The group study rooms are for groups consisting of minimum 2 people. Please use the reading rooms if you are studying on your own.
If a group study room is not used within 30 minutes of the start of the reserved time, other groups are free to use the room. Students may use the room before the 30 minutes have elapsed, but should the group with the original reservation turn up within 30 minutes of the reserved time, the other students will have to leave the room. Exception: Group study rooms that have been reserved for oral exams with a 9 a.m. start, are required to be reserved from 8:15 a.m.
Each student may reserve the group study room for a maximum of 3 hours per day.
Students are responsible for their own equipment and the university has no liability if personal equipment is stolen or broken.
The group study room should be tidied after each use with chairs and tables put back in place, windows shot, and rubbish removed.
PS! The opening hours for group study rooms and special rooms are the same as those for UiA.
