You need to be admitted to a study programme at UiA, and to have passed a minimum of 60 credits to be qualified for exchange / Study Abroad. To find out when you can go on exchange, check your study programme in the ECTS catalogue.
Some partner universities have general admission requirements for English qualifications and GPA. Some departments at UiA require that exchange candidates can prove a satisfactory GPA and academic progression.
Certain departments invite candidates for exchange to an interview after the application deadline. Nominations are then based on a general assessment of the interview, grades, and if relevant, other academic factors.
As and exchange / Study Abroad student, you are exempt from language requirements at most of our partner institutions. Some Australian universities, however, require documented knowledge in English. Contact the International Education office at UiA for further information.
Please note that certain modules you may take as an exchange student may require prerequisites.
