Special examination arrangements with digital examination
If you would prefer not to use a computer for your digital examination, you may apply to write by hand using pen and paper, instead of a computer. Please, use the application form here on this page.
If you have been granted the use of a computer with spell check software, as a special examination arrangement, you will need to take your examination in one of UIA’s computer labs regardless of whether your examination is digital or not.
However, if you have been granted the use of a computer without spell check software, you will be placed in a computer lab only if the examination is a “pen and paper examination”. For digital examinations, you need to bring your own laptop like all the other students. (if you for special reasons need to sit in a computer lab also when the examination is digital, please contact the Examination Office)
If I have two exams on the same day - what do I do?
You have two options:
You may apply for a valid excuse for absence for one of the examinations provided that you have passed all the pre-requisites required to take the examination. You may apply to have both examinations on the same day. This can be granted if it's practically possible to achieve
Reservations: If one or both examinations are converted to home examinations, due to corona related issues, it's no longer possible to arrange two exams on the same day.
The application deadline is 4 weeks before the examination. Please use our online application form on this webpage.
