We advise you to request an explanation before you consider an appeal against the grade.
Request explanation of the grade in Studentweb
Read the sensor guidelines in Canvas to see if you want to ask for an explanation
Log on Studentweb
In the menu <More> choose <Explanation and complaint> The command <Explanation/complaint> is also available next to the result of the course.
You will find a list of courses where it is possible to request an explanation in Studentweb
Select course and press <Send> to request the explanation. This choice will appear as long as the deadline for requesting an explanation has not expired
The explanation will normally be given within 2-3 weeks
You will receive an e-mail when the explanation has been written and you will find a link in Studentweb which takes you to Inspera where the explanation will be found (In <Archive> course code and <See more details>).
If the course you have in mind is not listed in Studentweb as explained above, you have to request the explanation by sending an e-mail to email@example.com
If you submitted your exam as an assignment in Canvas, please send the request directly to your lecturer/censor by e-mail.
Please remember to provide the COURSE CODE and your CANDIDATE NUMBER when you request an explanation by e-mail.
Requests for explanation of grades for oral or practical examinations, must be submitted immediately after the grade is announced.
