NOA - Notice of Attendance is the app for digital attendance registration at the university, where you as a student ‘check in’ to your lectures. Your check-in is registered directly in the lecturer's class list and you get a full overview of your timetable and attendance record.
Sign in with Microsoft and use firstname.lastname@example.org and your FEIDE password.
You must have confirmed your education plan to use the app.
Answer YES to the question if you want the app to use your location (you must be at the lecture location to check in).
Nice to know
You check in to the entire block of a subject in the same check-in.
Check-in is possible 10 minutes before and 15 minutes after the lecture has started.
If you do not have a smartphone or you do not want to download the app, you must ask your lecturer to register you manually when he/she takes the attendance register.
If you do not check in, you will automatically be registered as absent.
If you forget to check in within the allotted time slot, you must ask your lecturer to register you during the teaching session.
How to check in
If it is geolocation based, you just need to select the correct campus in the app while inside the classroom and press "check in".
If it is code-based, press "check in with code" in the app and enter the code given by your teacher.
If there is check-in using a QR code, press "check in with camera" in the app, and then scan the QR code.
The data NOA receives about you is your first name, last name, e-mail address, as well as mobile number and subject affiliation. The information is not stored in NOA at the end of the semester. You use location-based services on your mobile phone to be able to check in for teaching sessions and thus confirm your attendance. The location data is used for this purpose only and will not be stored or tracked. You will not receive marketing or any irrelevant information.
