Norwegian Advanced Battery Laboratory Infrastructure (NABLA)

About the project

To enable the transition to carbon-neutral solutions, it is agreed that both further development and fundamental knowledge of battery technology is crucial. There is a strong need for strengthening the research facilities available at Norwegian universities and research institutions. The Norwegian Advanced Battery Laboratory (NABLA) will be established as a national infrastructure for battery research but also enabling research for activities related to the next generation batteries. The infrastructure will be distributed in research areas among all the central players in battery R&D in Norway. This will give Norwegian researchers and industry access to the state-of -the-art facilities necessary to succeed.
