Jump to main content

Six centres were awarded the status of Priority research centres at the University of Agder in 2019. In 2021 these were joined by two more. The centres will be UiAs flagships for research at an international scale. They are prioritized by the university based on past results and their ambitions for further development.

The centres have national and international ambitions and are working after the university’s strategy. When granting the awards, the university also emphasized external financing and gender balance. The status as priority research centre carries with it NOK 10 million over 5 years. The centres will also get additional recruitment positions and funds for necessary infrastructure.
