UPDATED 14 December: A student who studied at Campus Kristiansand Monday 13 December, has tested positive for coronavirus. The studetn has been in close contact with a omicron-infected person.

The student was studying in the first floor (in Norwegian second floor) of the Universiity library Monday 13 December between 09:00 and 17:00 hours. Tuesday the student tested positive for coronavirus by a self-test, and the Municipal Health Service has taken a PCR test. This test result will probably not be confirmed before a one or two days.

The Health Service has traced a omicron infected close contact to the student. This means it is highly possible that the student also is affected by the omicron variant.
