New dean at the School of Business and Law

Roger Normann (49) is offered the position of dean at the School of Business and Law at UiA for the next four years.

The appointment was approved by the University Board on 16 June.

Roger Normann has a doctorate in industrial management from NTNU (2007). He is currently employed as chief scientist at the research institute NORCE.

Roger Normann will be the new dean at the School of Business and Law at UiA

“I'm very happy to welcome Roger to the decanal team. He has long and relevant management experience, a broad network, and expertise in securing external funding. All of this will be invaluable in the role”, says Rector Sunniva Whittaker.

Normann has previously been centre manager at NORCE, director of Agder Research and head of the Department of Working Life and Innovation at the School of Business and Law at UiA.

Decanal positions at UiA are four-year term appointments.

Normann receives an offer of employment from UiA now, and we will return with a more detailed presentation of the new dean at a later date.
