On Saturday 1 August, temporary staff in teaching and research positions will have a new representative on the University Board. The election is announced on 30 March.
The election will be held electronically in the period from 26 May to 3 June 2020. One representative and two substitutes will be elected. The constituency consists of close to 270 employees in temporary teaching and research positions, mainly research fellows.
“The representative of temporary employees in academic positions has an important voice on the University Board, perhaps mainly with regards to our research fellows, their views and conditions. We therefore hope many and good candidates will submit their candidacy”, says leader of the Electoral board, Veslemøy Rabe.
In the election announcement, the period for submitting candidates runs from 28 April – 12 May 2pm. Candidate submissions must be made on a separate form. The period of representation for a one-year-term is from 1 August 2020 to 31 July 2021.
